PASCAL International Observatory is a dynamic and rapidly expanding organisation which aims to connect the communities of policy makers, practioners and researchers through an innovative approach to the sharing and exchange of cutting-edge best practice research, ideas and policies.
Founded in 1451, the University of Glasgow is the fourth oldest university in the United Kingdom and its mission is to undertake leading-edge, internationally-competitive research while offering a challenging student-centred learning environment. As a leading international university, it aims to sustain and add value to Scottish culture and society, to the natural environment and to the national economy. It has some 15000 undergraduates, almost 5000 postgraduates and 5000 adults in continuing education programmes with students from coming from more than 100 countries.
Universus is a non-profit University consortium, a linking, flexible and pro-active organisation between the field of University education (with its scientific and research potential) and the industrial, service and territory sectors in the dynamic and evolving Apulia region.
Universus works in these fields: Management, Energy and the Environment, Quality, Construction and Territorial planning, Cultural Heritage, ITC, Technology (plant engineering, quality, security, mechatronics), Health and safety.
The Faculty of Adult Education and HRD of the Universitiy of Pécs is a major regional reseach and education hub in adult and lifelong education. The Faculty has established its of the Regional Lifelong Learning Research Centre in 2004 so as to run research and networking with other learning organisations. The Faculty and its Research Centre initiated the formation of the Learning City Region Forum in Pécs with relevant stakeholders.

The Swiss Federation for Adult Learning(SVEB) is the umbrella organization of adult education and lifelong learning in Switzerland. It is a non governemental organisation, which represents nationwide private and state institutions, associations, representatives responsible for adult education on a cantonal level, institutions, in-house training departments and personnel managers. It also extends its reach to individuals who are active in adult education (lifelong learning).
